Our recomendations are: Two towels — one to sit on inside the sauna, and one to dry off with after your sea swim. Swimwear — a swimsuit or swim shorts are required. A sauna hat — if you have one, it's a great idea to bring it. A sauna hat protects your head from the intense heat and allows you to stay in the sauna longer and more comfortably. Not essential, but very recommended! Water — staying hydrated is important. We provide still and sparkling water, but feel free to bring your own bottle too. Flip flops or sandals and a hair tie — if you have long hair, tying it up makes the heat much more comfortable.

Swimwear is required at all times — a swimsuit or swim shorts are perfect. We don't permit nudity.
We also strongly recommend a sauna hat if you have one. Sauna hats are a traditional Finnish accessory that protect your head and ears from the intense heat, making it much easier to stay inside longer and enjoy the full experience. Avoid wearing tight synthetic sportswear — it can feel uncomfortable in the heat. A loose swimsuit or shorts and nothing else is ideal.

Absolutely — in fact, many of our guests are completely new to sauna. There's no experience needed whatsoever.
Here are a few tips to make your first visit as comfortable as possible: Start slow. Spend 8–10 minutes in the sauna, then step outside or take a cool shower. Repeat as many times as you like.
Listen to your body. If you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or too hot — simply step outside.
Hydrate before and after. Drink a glass of water before your session and plenty afterwards.
Don't eat a big meal beforehand. Give yourself at least an hour after eating before your session.
Breathe slowly and relax. The first few minutes can feel intense — this is normal.
We're happy to answer any questions when you arrive. Our goal is for you to leave feeling completely restored.

Our sauna typically reaches between 80°C and 100°C (176°F–212°F), depending on how much löyly (steam) is added.
Löyly (pronounced "leu-lu") is the Finnish word for the steam created when water is poured over the hot sauna stones. You're welcome to add löyly yourself using the ladle and bucket provided. Most people find 8–15 minutes per round comfortable before cooling down.
-
Children under 16 are not permitted to use the sauna. If you are bringing a teenager aged 16 or over:
They must be accompanied and directly supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
The accompanying adult takes full responsibility for their safety.
Young people should start with short sessions (5–8 minutes) and exit immediately if they feel unwell.
Extra hydration is especially important for younger guests.
If you have any questions, please get in touch before booking.

Epilepsy — heat can be a seizure trigger for some. Severe kidney disease. Active fever or illness — please do not visit if currently unwell. Being under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Recent surgery or open wounds.
If you are unsure, please consult your GP before booking. We're not medical professionals and cannot advise on individual health circumstances, but we're happy to answer general questions about the sauna environment.
